Kadence Johnson

2025 Plaquemines Parish Seafood Queen, Kadence Johnson

I am your 2025 Plaquemines Parish Seafood Queen, Kadence Johnson. I am 18 years old and a recent graduate from Belle Chasse High School. I plan on attending Delgado Community College to obtain a degree in Criminal Justice and I currently work full time at Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office. I was born and raised in Plaquemines Parish and for generations, my family has thrived on our seafood industry. I’m humbly honored to represent a festival and organization that gives so much back to our community. I can proudly say that I will advocate for our fishermen, crown or not. I’m looking forward to what the rest of the year has to offer.

Throw your line, cast your nets, and let the hard work of our fisherman feed your soul at the 22nd Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival!

I am you’re 2025 Teen Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival Queen, Brynly Newby. I am currently a Sophomore at Belle Chasse High School. I enjoy running track for my school and volunteering. It’s truly an honor to represent such a beautiful industry—one that delivers the freshest local seafood and brings together a community that’s proud, hardworking, and hands-on. One thing I truly enjoy about the seafood festival is, of course, their fresh local seafood, but also the bands that keep the mood alive. So, join me on the last full weekend of April to celebrate our hardworking fishermen and local seafood. Along with enjoying fun carnival rides, a free kid’s tent, and a lively band.
